Told by an insider whistleblower, Heat Merchants is the story of a down on his luck salesman who finds the pot of gold when hired by a group of elite sales people who transform him into a $10K per week superstar. But he soon discovers all that glitters is not gold and winds up on a 3-way collision course with the top conman who hires him, a female undercover cop sent in to bust the group and an unwitting victim of the scammers bent on revenge.
